Girl Power TV Show for Tyne and Wear

An all new, female-fronted panel show is set to broadcast on city TV channel, Made in Tyne and Wear in January 2016.

Chatty Lasses starts 6pm, Monday 18 January and will be hosted by three regular panellists, all from the North East, including Ex-Apprentice and fitness expert, Katie Bulmer-Cooke, retail entrepreneur Suzanne Cleary and beauty enthusiast, Lisa Guthrie. The panel will also be joined by a different special guest each week.

The weekly half hour show will tackle a range of topics including health, business and celebrity culture.

Panel host, Katie Bulmer-Cooke said:

“Viewers can expect anything and everything from Chatty Lasses. There will be debate, discussion and expert advice on everything from health to business. Chatty Lasses isn’t just a girly gossip, it’s about bringing together a real broad range of guests and panellists giving sound advice and debating key topics in a down-to-earth way.”

Katie adds: “The three of us are all so different and that’s what is so exciting about the show! Suzanne has a wealth of experience in the corporate world and took the leap to start her own business, Lisa is the queen of social media with over 15,000 members on her fashion and beauty Facebook group ‘Tried and Tested’ and then there is the me, the fitness entrepreneur who says it like it is!”

Tony Hazell, Made in Tyne and Wear’s Station Manager, comments: “We’re delighted to be bringing a brand new panel show fronted by three fantastic local women to the channel and sure it’s going to go down a storm with our viewers. 2015 has been a fantastic year for Made in Tyne and Wear TV but the audience ain’t seen nothing yet and with Chatty Lasses starting in January, 2016 is set to be even better!”

Made in Tyne and Wear TV attracts a weekly audience of over 230,000 and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on Freeview channel 8, Virgin 159 and Sky Guide 117.
