The MBC Diploma in the Fashion and Photographic Industry is the UK’s first accredited Level 3 qualification. Accredited by City and Guilds; the course offers students practical experience in hair and beauty, photographic, catwalk and styling skills. Working in salons and studios alongside qualified practitioners the course is underpinned with a strong emphasis on business start-up support giving students the knowledge and confidence to form their own companies after graduation.

Lesley Lister, Co-Founder of the Diploma and Managing Director of Tyne Tees Models, said, “This diploma is the first qualification of its type and has been created to give young people practical advice and experience in this exciting industry. It’s a fun course but will really equip students with practical skills and hands-on experience.”

The year-long diploma covers seven exciting units including:

  • hair,
  • make-up,
  • beauty,
  • fitness,
  • photography,
  • business,

You don’t have to have a strong academic background to sign up to the diploma, just bags of enthusiasm and a willingness to try something new.”

Fashion student Charlie, who completed the diploma, was full of praise for the course, “I completed my diploma last year and it’s made me much more confident and taught me how to present myself.
