TillyFest 2012 – Charity Real Ale and Music Festival
Tow Law Town FC are hosting an event in aid of The Give Tilly A Hand Appeal.
The event runs from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 August 2012 at the club’s Ironworks Ground, Tow Law.
There will be activities for all the family:
Over 30 bands playing two stages
A large selection of real ales and ciders from the region’s breweries
Puppet and animal shows
Stephen Robinson, one of the organisers, said: “This promises to be a brilliant event for all. The Give Tilly A Hand charity is really worthwhile cause.
“if anyone would like to support the event they can have an advert on the stage, sponsoring a barrel of beer or cider, website and programme sponsors. Or you can donate a prize for the raffle.”
Tilly Lockey is a well known little girl who caught meningitis at the age of seven, which resulted in her losing both her hands. Since then many people have contributed to raising money in her aid read her full story at www.givetillyahand.com
