North Tyneside Summer Golf Tournament

£10 for golfers / free for networkers

Whether you’re pro or amateur golfer come along and try your hand in a 9-hole challenge on one of the region’s premier courses. North Tyneside-based companies are invited to take part in this exciting golf & business networking event to raise the profile of local business and help to make firm connections between companies based in the Borough.

There are 24 golfing places available – at a £10 charge, the proceeds will go to a local charity, the Tynemouth Volunteer Life Brigade (TVLB). Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.  First tee-off time will be at 1pm with three balls going off at 8 minute intervals. The format will be Stableford.

If golf is not your thing but you’d still like to join the free post-tournament networking session, this will begin at 4pm in the Clubhouse where the winning golfer will be presented with a trophy and a photograph opportunity.

There will also be a chance to find out more about how the Business Forum can benefit your business through the emerging Sector Groups (Tourism & Leisure, Construction, Manufacturing), hear about the campaigning work of the North Shields Chamber of Commerce, and you will have a chance to view Tynemouth Golf Club’s excellent corporate hospitality facilities.

There will also be prize raffle with prizes donated by local companies. Enjoy a locally sourced buffet and refreshments.  It’s good for your business, good for the local community, great fun, and all for a  good cause!
