A local film director needs your help to make a forthcoming horror. Each donation will be rewarded.
COULROPHOBIA (which means a fear of clowns), is a forthcoming horror movie which draws its inspiration from films such as Rob Zombie’s “House of a Thousand Corpses”, Tobe Hooper’s “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” and US HBO TV series “Carnivale”.
The movie is the creation of Warren Speed – an inspired film maker with vision, passion and relentless drive .. whose films are greatly anticipated by the fans of the Horror, Comedy-Horror and Grindhouse genres. Warren has a great deal of experience in these type of films covering many aspects including writing, directing, producing and performing and is very much a do-er rather than a talker!
His 2009 cult film “Zombie Women of Satan” attracted huge interest in both the Media and the Film world with the DVD selling in the UK, North America, Australia and Spain amongst other territories. It is still regularly shown on the UK and USA Horror channels and at present has racked up almost 450,000 hits on YouTube, a phenomenal figure for a low-budget UK feature film.
Warren’s follow-up movie “Zombie Women of Satan 2”, is now well into post-production for an estimated winter 2014 release and the hopes are it will replicate the success of its predecessor.
COULROPHOBIA is in the advanced pre-production stage and the purpose of this campaign is to offer interested parties the chance to contribute to making this insanely bizarre movie the best it can possibly be.
The film revolves around the Grock’s – a very dysfunctional family of ex-circus performers, two brothers and two sisters, who live in a ramshackle sideshow “compound” located in a remote area in the Scottish Highlands.

CELESTE will be played by Daniella D’ Ville
Daniella is regarded as one of the worlds greatest sideshow performers.
TWITCH will be played by Pete Bennett (BIG BROTHER)
Pete was recently voted the most popular winner ever of the UK’s “Big Brother” TV series. Initially his Tourettes condition was his defining trait but there is so much more to Pete than just a medical condition. He is a truly unique individual with huge acting skills and abilities.
MILO will be played by Warren Speed
A very motivated entrepreneur and performer since his mid teens Warren was initially a musician and stand-up comedian before turning to Male Burlesque which he performed around Europe – the pinnacle being a critically acclaimed two-week show in Paris in which he supported Dita Von Teese.
GRETCHEN will be played by Elvis Bordeaux, a very promising off-beat young actress and a future star in the making.
The role of FATHER is currently under discussion with a “name” actor – and we will update you as soon as this is confirmed.
The ten actresses portraying the Roller Derby Girls are being kept under wraps for now ..
The reason for this campaign is to make sure the necessary funding is in place to ensure COULROPHOBIA is made to the highest standard possible .. particularly in the areas of the gory special FX and the “ramshackle sideshow compound” set build.
Literally the more we can raise the better we can make the movie – it may be low-budget but we can definitely deliver one hell of a spectacle.
This is a unique opportunity to participate in what will be a horrific, sexy but most importantly, extremely entertaining film.
