Sunderland Live is offering to take visitors to dizzying new heights at this year’s Sunderland International Airshow as the event unveils its first ever helicopter flight experiences.
Visitors can take the opportunity to marvel at the landscape and North Sea as the pilot introduces them to horizons they never knew existed, a fantastic chance to enjoy an adrenaline-fuelled tour of the sky.

Working in partnership with Northumbria Helicopters, organisers are offering thrill seeking event goers the opportunity to purchase their flights in advance. Flights will take off from Monkwearmouth School, just a 15 minute walk from the main event site.
Packages are priced at just £39 for a five-mile flight, whilst those looking for a longer experience can opt for or a 10 mile experience for just £75.
