Magic at the Museum Saturday 5th December, 10am – 4pm at the Hancock Museum, sees their collections come to life with a Yuletide twist.
With lots to see and do to get you in the festive spirit:
- Festive music with Newcastle University Wind Band in the galleries
- Pet or feed live reindeer Pancake, Ella, Oslo and April on the front lawn
- See human statues of a Greek goddess, Roman soldier and Egyptian pharaoh
- Experience our special interactive Christmas story in the first floor exhibition space
- Learn about soils that grow your Christmas tree with scientists from Newcastle University
- Make your own soil and plant your own tree to take home
