An evening for those interested in the Hadrian’s Wall Challenge to find out more and get involved.
Hadrian’s Wall Challenge is a non-stop, 74 mile endurance walk. Walking from West to East coast, all in the name of charity, this event is not for the faint hearted!
The informal evening will be set in the inspirational location of the Great North Museum and amidst the backdrop of a large scale, interactive model of Hadrian’s Wall!
Guests will hear about this years highly successful event and will have the chance to find out more about what happened during the thirty hours 2012 challenge.
There will also be a presentation from Iain Watson, Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums director, who will talk about the project that the challenge fundraising will support as well as the wider work of the organisations.
Full information will be provided to guests on how to participate in the day or alternatively the many other (not quite as physical) ways to support.
Registration will be from 5.30 with a prompt 6pm start.
