For the past several weeks I have been glued to The Apprentice and was surprised to see Alan Sugar choose Mark Wright’s SEO marketing (Climb online) business idea over Bianca Miller’s tights wear proposal.
Though Mark hasn’t got off to a brilliant start, and here is why:
- Climbonline.co.uk is already taken by a climbing business, as is .com (whoops, Mark should of preformed a google search before choosing his business name)
- There are hundreds if not thousands of SEO marketing companies (everyone most of had an email from one or more), therefore the competition is very high!
- The £250,000 investment won’t last long if Mark intends on ‘outsourcing’ seo experts and hiring ‘in-house’, with the average SEO expert wage is £25K!
Whilst runner up Bianca Miller has already set up her website biancamillerlondon.com and is already gathering an email list of possible clients from it (you go girl!)
Best of luck to both Mark and Bianca!
