Mushroom Works studio artist Joanne Wishart will be transforming the Gallery into a seaside haven for this solo exhibition. Joanne will be displaying a selecting of large paintings inspired by our North East coast, St Mary’s Island, Whitley Bay and Tynemouth are all landmarks to be captured within this exhibition.
Joanne also has a few new treats in store; she is currently upcycling deckchairs and working on some new techniques. Printmaking, stitch and mixed media are all being combined to create and develop her artwork.
So why not be the first to see her new creations and visit the exhibition where you are promised to be transported back to those happy “seaside holiday” memories.
Greetings cards, ceramic coasters, limited edition prints and smaller artwork (£200 and under) will also be available during the exhibition.
