halloweenshow - Live Review: Halloween Show, Boulevard Newcastle

Okay, I stand up and admit it, I’m becoming a Boulevard’oholic! After seeing their latest Halloween show I am now hooked! Top class cabaret shows with a great friendly atmosphere, perfect for a fab night out.

Becoming a regular

The staff at boulevard are always very friendly and professional. For the shows I advise you to get the seats, which come with a full waited on service, heaven (treat yourself)! Next, the night started off with the lovely Miss Rory introducing the New Halloween Show and a warm welcome, picking out members of the audience for a light-hearted chat and giggle, this time I didn’t escape! It was the opening night and we had birthday parties, a group from the tax office, people from Sunderland (both who had a few jokes in their direction) and family members of the cast.

During the show I tried one of the sharing platters, it was very generous and yummy!

Opening night

Firstly I must say, for an opening night I did not see any noticeable mistakes, apart for one member of the cast being hit in the face with a prop, but we were informed it was part of the show or would be now as it produced a lot of laughs!

The show was made up of several sections each followed by a short interval of music to dance to before the next part started. Every part of the show was amazing. Miss Rory also takes part in both the opening and finale.

Each musical number was led by the legendary Betty Legs Diamond and her fabulous broadway dancers, with amazing costumes and dance routines.

I wont give away all the musical numbers and themes but you can expect to see Siamese twins, a bearded lady, frankenstein, the adams family and many more. Most importantly you will be scared, so frequent toilet breaks are essential!!!

It’s not surprising that Boulevard is rated number 1 on TripAdvisor for nightlife in Newcastle!

I will most definitely be back!!!

Don’t miss out!

Halloween show runs until 31st October

If you like cabaret at its best and a great atmosphere, don’t miss this show!
