Tyne and Wear’s very own TV channel, Made in Made in Tyne and Wear is about to mark its first year on the air with a special live show.

‘MADE365’ will be broadcast live from Newcastle quayside bar, Tiger Hornsby, and anchored by some of the station’s most familiar faces including Peter Darrant, Mel Crawford and Hazel Pude. The show will be broadcast on Thursday 12th November at 8pm in front of a live studio audience – exactly 365 days since the channel came to screens across the area.

Among the guests will be local personalities and celebs, sporting stars and some of the station’s biggest characters, all getting involved in a fun-filled show with live music, interviews, challenges, and much more.

Expect to see Katie Bulmer-Cooke, former Apprentice star and lead panelist of new show, Chatty Lasses, BBC Radio presenter Anna Foster, Mr Gay UK and host of Made on the Dancefloor, Stuart Hatton, Great Britain Volleyball Olympian, Peter Bakare, Helen Alderson, Goalkeeper for Durham’s women’s football team and Big Pink Dress Man, Colin Burgin-Plews all getting involved in the show.

Made in Tyne & Wear’s Station Manager, Tony Hazell said: “The last year has been amazing, I’m extremely proud of what’s been achieved and seeing the station grow from strength to strength but I’m even more excited about what’s to come. Although our live show is being held a year since launch we are very much look forward to the year ahead- viewers ain’t seen nothing yet!”

Made Television CEO, Jamie Conway adds: “With more than 700 hours of original content broadcast on the channel, all filmed and made in Tyne and Wear and with more than 235,000 weekly viewers tuning in, we’re looking forward to bringing even more local content and new shows over the coming year.”
