- Welcome drinks will available from 7.00pm in the Riverside Atrium
- Followed by a two-course dinner with coffee in the Quay 7 Restaurant from 7.45pm.
- Entertainment and music are being provided by the Christine Kay Band, whilst artist Paul Slattery will be capturing faces on paper with his ‘on the spot’ caricaturing.
Lit & Phil Fundraiser Alma Devine said “It is wonderful to be working with such a prestigious venue as the Copthorne 4* Hotel on Newcastle’s Quayside for the Lit & Phil’s first external dinner party.
I have been thrilled with the level of support that we’ve received. Santander are supporting the drinks reception, artist Paul Slattery is providing his time and local company ‘Made to Treasure’, Karen Goldfinch will be helping to decorate tables in the Quay 7 Restaurant. Big thanks also to Christine Kay and her band who will be providing a medley of music for the evening.
“We are also delighted with the response to the event so far, we are so pleased that people are looking forward to supporting this worthy cause, whilst enjoying a relaxing evening with friends and colleagues.
Tickets are just £25 per person and this includes a prize draw ticket.
The Copthorne Hotel is also kindly offering overnight accommodation at a reduced rate of £80 B&B for 2 people“.
All money raised from this event will go the Lit & Phil.
