Sunderland Live are proud to announce the return of The North East Funfair to Herrington Country Park this summer. The largest fun fair in the North East is set to once again delight visitors with a colourful range of rides and games when it returns to Sunderland from the 15th August- 25th August.
Last year’s event saw thousands of people flocking to Herrington Country Park to enjoy over 100 attractions and this year promises to be just as fantastic.
Chris Alexander, Chief Operating Officer at Sunderland Live said: “After last year’s success we are thrilled to be able to bring this event back to Sunderland. We have taken great care to ensure that the fair takes place during the school summer holidays this year to give everyone plenty of chances to enjoy what promises to be a great family fun day out.”
Colin Noble of Nobles Funfair said: “We are looking to build on the event on an annual basis and have bespoke sponsorship opportunities available.”
The fair’s opening times are confirmed as 2-9pm Monday- Thursday, 2-10pm Friday and Saturday, 2-8pm Sunday and 1-9pm on Bank Holiday Monday.
