WIN A MAGIC NIGHT OUT!
ABRACADABRA! It’s almost time for the North East’s biggest magic event – and you could be there to witness it.
We have a pair of tickets up for grabs for a special performance at this year’s South Tyneside International Magic Festival (STIMF) later this month.
The event, now in its 14th year, brings magicians, magic professionals and ardent fans from across the world together for a three-day convention which also includes three public performances.
Our winner will receive a pair of tickets to the International Gala Show on Friday 17 March, 2017 at The Customs House in South Shields.
The show is set to feature mind-bending magic and stunning illusions from a host of UK and international stars.
These include Canada’s Mahdi Gilbert, a leading sleight of hand expert born without hands or feet who successfully fooled Penn and Teller in their hit show Fool Us, as well as American mind reader Asi Wind.
Jetting in from Singapore is Ning: Mind Magic Mistress who is launching her new mind reading act at the festival, while North Tyneside teenage siblings Destiny will be wowing audiences with their classic magic tricks.
Duo Amethyst make a welcome return this year, and are set to dazzle with their spectacular illusions, while comedy magician and escapologist Mark James will compere the event in his own unique way.
The annual festival is run by South Tyneside Council, sponsored by Magicbox and supported by BBC Radio Newcastle and The Customs House. More information is available by visiting www.southtyneside.gov.uk/magicfestival
