Danielle Gibson, Chair of Middlesbrough Community Pride, says: “Our plan to hold these events, as a Festival, celebrating our LGBT community, their families and friends and promoting inclusion, equality and diversity, are now coming to fruition. With the support of our sponsors, Teesside University, Middlesbrough Council, Middlesbrough College, Teesside Philanthropic foundation, Fabrick Housing and Cleveland Police.”
Our aim is to attract people locally and regionally encouraging them to stay in and around Middlesbrough. We want to push the Festival into the public domain, generate tourism and support local businesses. Our success relies on the wider community engaging with us so we can all work together to deliver a fantastic and enjoyable Community Pride 2013.
