Sunderland will be hosting two running events on 4th May, Half Marathon and City 10k. Read below to get involved.
The Half Marathon event starts and finishes at the Stadium of Light and is held entirely within the city centre and the coastal road to Roker Park. Held in conjunction with the Sunderland City 10K this is one of the biggest mass participation events in the North and competitors are drawn from around the region and beyond.
All finishers will of course receive their medal, technical t-shirt and good bag. Car parking is free in the Stadium of Light area which is also served by two Metro stations in close proximity.
The race will start at 10:25 (approx) on Sunday 4th May, following the start of the Sunderland City 10K.

Car Parking is free and two Metro Stations provide easy access to the Stadium of Light area.
Both events are still taking online entries up until 23rd April.
