The Linskill Centre’s Annual Summer Fair & BBQ will be taking place on Saturday 19th July from 11am-3pm with a range of fun-filled activities for all the family throughout the day!
Activities include creative participation workshops from House of Objects – makers of innovative creations using reclaimed, reusable and recycled materials, and for those interested in learning some magic tricks we have 2 x 45 minute workshops with a real member of the magic circle!
Workshops are aimed at children and young people but open to all!
A large sea-side cut out designed by North Tyneside Art Studio will be on display for visitors to paint and take some fun photographs alongside, and a bouncy castle, face painting area and our usual wide range of gift and craft stalls will be open to browse throughout the day.
We will also be joined by information stalls including Friends of the Earth, Weight Watchers, and The Business Factory who will be offering advice to local people considering starting their own businesses.
A stage area will see acts from local musicians who will perform throughout the day and a brief Zumba class will also take place for those who wish to participate. Those wanting to sit back and relax can enjoy a drink from Linskill bar and try some delicious BBQ food prepared by our Chef!
Linskill gardens will be open for those looking to escape the busier areas and visitors can enjoy some giant garden games such as giant Jenga, Skittles and Connect 4.
A map will be available on entry so visitors can work their way around the fair and even colour it in as they go!
Entry is free for all although some activities may have a small fee.
