We’d like to invite you and any friends or family along to a FREE training session with us at the Fitness Camp Academy this Easter!! All we ask in return is that you bring along a chocolate Easter egg. We’ll be collecting in the eggs during the sessions and donating them to two charities for distribution to other deserving young people across the region!

In Seaburn we’ll be donating the chocloate eggs to local charity Hope 4Kidz, while in Newcastle and North Tyneside we’ll be donating them to Variety, the Children’s Charity.

The sessions will be held as follows:

  • Monday 2nd April, Behind the Seaburn Centre Seaburn – 18.15-1900
  • Tuesday 3rd April, Exhibition Park Newcastle – 06.15-07.00
  • Tuesday 3rd April, Royal Quays North Shields – 06.15-07.00

The students of Woodlawn School in West Monkseaton will be one of the organisations that will be benefiting. The school caters for pupils aged two to 19 years with a diverse range of special educational needs. As an Easter treat all pupils will receive a chocolate egg to enjoy and celebrate the end of a busy term. The eggs are being delivered and issued by Variety, the Children’s Charity, a charity that has worked with both the Fitness Camp Academy and the school itself in the past.

Woodlawn School’s Deputy Head teacher Clair Harrison-Hoggarth said:

We have been lucky enough to have been supported by Variety in the past who helped us secure a minibus which has been an essential resource to ensure that our pupils can extend their learning on educational visits and residentials. We are delighted that the Fitness Camp Academy and Variety have chosen Woodlawn School to support with their Easter Egg Amnesty. We also believe in eating healthily and keeping fit but I am sure the pupils will enjoy the Easter eggs as a treat after working hard during a very successful term at school.”

Anyone over 18 can join in and the exercises will be carefully broken down so that they are suitable for all fitness levels, from complete beginner to the more advanced.

For further information or to get involved please drop an email to martin@fitnesscampacademy.com or give myself or Lauren a call on 0330 66 00 103

Please help us to help the less fortunate young people from around the region enjoy their Easter holidays!

Watch out for pictures and a review in a later post!!

Martin
