Last remaining places available for unemployed North East graduates to benefit from expenses-paid placements abroad
A North East based company, Accentuate (North East) Limited, is providing unemployed or ‘under employed’ North East graduates with 13-week placements across Europe in a bid to improve employability amongst young people in the region.
The purpose of the programme, which will run from January 2013, is to help applicants develop knowledge and skills acquired through their UK degree programme, making them more employable on their return to the region.
What’s more, Accentuate has successfully bid for money from the European Union which means that all of the costs associated with the placements, including flights, accommodation, local transport (plus a financial allowance sufficient for 3 meals every day) are all paid for by Accentuate.
“At the end of the placements, participants will have developed new higher level work skills, plus language and social skills, all of which will improve their chances of permanent employment in the UK or abroad”, says Rick McCordall, co-founder and Managing Director of Accentuate.
“We are looking for north-east graduates who will see this as a great opportunity to enjoy living in another great European city for three months and really help enhance their career opportunities. Having travelled and worked abroad when I was younger, I know how much it can improve self-confidence, social skills and your CV.”
Successful applicants will be selected over the coming weeks and will travel from February 2013. Any graduates who feel this would benefit their career to send a CV and covering letter through the website www.accentuate.uk.com now.
