cocktail - May the best Cocktail Win! Newcastle, Sept 23

Building on from the bumper night everyone had last month at Tokyo Bar, this is set to be another amazing night out, featuring cocktail making and educational sessions till 11pm, with further networking opportunities.

We start the evening with the Licensed Trade international face off final, to be judged by Russian Standard. 10 of the very best mixologists will battle it out to be crowned 2014 champion. The rules are simple… Freestyle… Any one cocktail made with any ingredients and over as long as is needed to create the most amazing masterpiece. Come and try out each cocktail and let us know which one you think is the very best.

We are going Eurovison on the points system, whereby 50% of the points will be given by the Russian Standard judges, who will secretly score the mixologists for creativity, style, performance and taste. The other 50% will be from the online public vote. The winners will be announced and crowned at the awards dinner on the 23rd September at the Castlegate on Melbourne Street, from 6-11pm.

Following the competition, we have a cocktail session by Russian Standard, showcasing the platinum and standard vodka with free tasters and free flavoured lagers on arrival at the event.

So it’s a night and networking opportunity that you can’t afford to miss out on, with networking in relaxation, till late!!

The purpose of the Cocktail Parties is to launch and showcase the best and coolest brands in the North East, to bring together the best venues, mixologists, management, suppliers to bars, restaurants and licensed premises for networking. All businesses involved in the Licensing Trade are welcome – from food through professional services, printing, bar and kitchen equipment and fitting out to help with finding the perfect building for a new establishment, with of course some of the latest cocktails to try out. Does this sound like your Company? If so, come along from 5:00- 5:30pm.
