You are invited to the annual Newcastle University Fine Art Postcard Auction, an event organised by final year BA Fine Art students to help fundraise for the 2015 Degree Show.
The event consists of a silent auction, where guests can bid on smaller works mostly on postcards, and a live auction, where larger works are sold. There will be opportunity to buy works by current students, alumni, tutors and artists.
This year we have the pleasure to include works by the likes of Timothy Hyman, Laura Aldridge, Liliane Lijn, Holly Antrum, Marie Toseland and many more. The auction is a great opportunity to purchase original artworks at affordable prices.
Prior to the event, we will hold an online auction for those who cannot attend. All works included in the live auction will be available for bidding in the online auction. The website will go live at 5pm on Monday 24th November and bidding will close at 10pm on Thursday 27th November.
Bidding paddles will be available on entry, and purchased work can be paid for and collected on the night of the event or arranged for a later date.* We will accept payment by cash, cheque and PayPal.
Entry to the event is free, and refreshments will be available throughout the building.
