On the back of Crufts which ran last week we want to give the opportunity for people of the North East of England to show off their dogs and WIN them some amazing prizes!

**Competition is open to all residents of the north east who own a dog.**

This competition is also being supported by The North East Dog Directory.

Voting

We have tried to make the voting as fair as possible by having 3 ways the public can vote for their favourite north east dog!

FACEBOOK ENTRIES (89 ENTRIES)

  1. Our Facebook Application To vote for the facebook entries you must like our facebook page prior to voting by our facebook competition app

EMAIL (NON-FACEBOOK ENTRIES – 17 ENTRIES)*

  1. Our website voting – Use the VOTING FORM below
  2. Our Flickr account Type ‘vote’ in the comments box (one vote per photo)

*Entries by email and by people with no facebook account will only added on to our website and flickr for voting and not facebook.

You may then encourage friends, family and the public to vote for your dog by sharing our website, flickr and facebook links.

Winners:

  • After the closing date for entries (Tuesday 2nd April 12 noon) the dogs will then be put to the public vote. If there is a significantly large number of entries these may be shortened down by our judges prior to the voting going live.
  • After the voting date, the 6 dogs with the highest number of votes in total on facebook will be asked to meet with our independent judges to choose 3 winners. The three runners-up will also receive a prize on the day.
  • The dogs with the highest number of votes on our website and flickr will also win prizes.

Rules and Conditions:

  1. You can only submit ONE entry per dog, NO multiple entries of the same dog.
  2. If you have more than one dog you want to enter you can.
  3. Photos must be of your dog and no-one elses.
  4. Photos must be of a good quality and feature most / all of the dogs body
  5. The dog must be owned by yourself.
  6. You must be a north-east of england resident to enter.
  7. Age limit 14+.
  8. Any cheating in any way will result in immediate disqualification. Our word is final.
  9. Entry and voting deadlines are subject to change without prior notice.

Donate a prize

We are looking for local businesses to donate doggie prize/s please for our competition. In return:

  • Newsletter (1800+ subscribers)
  • Large social media (twitter 9000+, facebook 1000+, google, linkedin)

If you donate a prize >£25 your logo will also appear on the online flyers and promotion material.
