Firstly a major thank you to all our entrants, with you this competition wouldn’t have been possible. Some fabulous north east photos!!!

Secondly a massive thank you to everyone who voted and our lovely judges! The combined votes from facebook, flickr and our website were counted and…

Our 10 Finalists were (name and photo number) Emma Bunting 1 , Derek Blemings 5, Ken Wilson 6, Jamie Sproates 9, Sarah Loveland  10, Michael McDermott 16, Adam Kendrick 17, 18,  and Paul Kendrick  19, 20.

These were sent on to our two independent judges to pick 3 Winners…it was a very hard decision as the standard was very high, but the winners are…

“Well what can I say about this picture….its almost like you happened to be in a moment, a place, and the sky does something remarkable, you take the picture and get home, and realize what an amazing picture it is!!!”

“As a professional photographer, it’s one of those serendipitous moments. Not sure that’s what happened here, but either way, and we’re delighted to give it first place! simply beautiful.”
