A TRAINING company has moved into a new facility after seeing its portfolio and turnover grow.
KF Training, which was launched by Kelly Lee in 2011 after years of working for training companies in the North East, has re-located from premises in Easington to a state-of-the-art building in Peterlee.
The company has taken space on the top floor of Whitehouse Point Three, which is the home of clothing manufacturing company The AMA Group.
KF Training started with one office in the Easington Business Centre and with sustained, targeted growth over the last three years has now brought all 35 staff together to work in one central location.
Managing Director Kelly Lee said “Since launching the business three years ago, things have gone from strength to strength. I launched with one contract and now we work with over one hundred companies across the region. Each year our workforce has grown and our turnover has increased year on year by 50 per cent.
“There’s no doubt the key to that success is the team I have around me. The business is built on high quality staff who inject fun, passion and above all, dedication, into everything they do. They’re our core values are what we pride ourselves on.
“We had three happy years at our office in Easington but as our portfolio grew it was clear we needed more space and the facility at Whitehouse Point Three is an ideal fit for us.
“I see this as a major milestone for the business and gives us the perfect base from which to continue to grow and service both existing and new clients.”
KF Training provides a wide range of training solutions combining work-based learning from levels two to five, mandatory training including health and safety and industrial training, professional training such as Microsoft, finance and personal development courses and bespoke packages from one to one business coaching and public speaking.
In addition KF training has invested in a Learning Management Platform to promote to businesses and is currently in the initial stages of developing e-learning material with the input of Teesside University.
KF Training’s portfolio of clients includes businesses across the North East, from NSK Bearings, AKS Precision Ball and Sotech to Seaham Hall Hotel, JDR Cables, ASDA Distribution and Wensleydale Creameries.
Kelly added: “We’re now in our fourth year of business and are very excited about what the future holds for us. We chose to take space at Whitehouse Point Three as we see it as the ideal environment for our business. There is plenty of space available for us to expand and I believe this move will support our drive to make KF Training the number one provider of training solutions in the region.”
