“This is an exciting event for the region, we’ve been very lucky to get such amazing guests on board and the support from local people has been great.” says event organizer Alan Elliott, from Whitley Bay. “The council have been very supportive and the staff at The Parks have been brilliant. This is something we hope will be an annual event for the region and we hope to attract people from all over the country. We already have guests coming from London and even a couple from Norway!”
Costumers will be raising money for various good causes and there will be prizes on the day for the best costume and a kid’s art competition.
We have a wide selection of professional promo photos available featuring Star Wars, Star Trek and Doctor Who characters taken at The Parks in North Shields.
This special event starts at 10 am on Saturday 4th May, at The Parks Sports Centre in North Shields.
