STOCKTON’S Golf Week returns to the Borough at the end of July for the fourth time – offering golfers of all abilities the chance to compete in one of the most complete golfing events of the year.
Organised by Stockton Council the four-day event from Tuesday, 30 July to Friday, 2 August takes in some of the regions’ best courses and offers golfers the chance to play at exclusively discounted rates. There are daily prizes and an overall prize for the best aggregate score across the four-day tour competition.
Players can choose to enter the whole four days or individual days and have the choice to play individually or as a group to join in the action.
There are four stunning courses on offer as part of the four-day ‘tour event’ – Billingham, Eaglescliffe, Teesside and Wynyard.
Stockton Council’s Cabinet Member for Arts, Leisure and Culture, Councillor Ken Dixon, said: “Golf fans are in for a real treat as Stockton Golf Week returns for its fourth year. This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy yourself and play on some of the Borough’s finest courses.
“Stockton Golf week runs alongside two of the Borough’s finest flagship events – Stockton Weekender music festival and Stockton International Riverside Festival. Why not extend your golfing experience and take the chance to combine a week of golf with live music, dance, street theatre and entertainment.”
Daily entrance fees for Billingham, Eaglescliffe and Teesside clubs is £15 per person. Wynyard Golf Club costs £20 a day per person.
