Following the recent announcement that The Color Run will return to the North East this summer, event organisers are pleased to announce that entries are now on sale. Hopeful ‘Color Runners’ should head to www.thecolorrun.co.uk/sunderland to sign-up now.
Taking place at Commercial Road on 20th September 2015, the ‘Happiest 5k on the Planet’ is preparing for another incredible event after receiving overwhelming interest from participants in the area.
Last year, thousands of runners took on the untimed course, with even more expected to get colour crazy in Sunderland in 2015. With entrants coming from all walks of life, varying ages and many levels of fitness abilities, The Color Run makes for a fantastic day out – with great music, an amazing atmosphere and, of course, plenty of colour!
After crossing the finish line, powdered partygoers join the Colour Festival Area to enjoy a great mix of DJs, MCs, the infamous ‘Color Throws’ plus a host of colour giveaways.

This year’s Sunderland Color Run event takes place at Commercial Road, Hendon, on Sunday 20th September 2015. Registration is now open at www.TheColorRun.co.uk/Sunderland. Event entries are priced at £26 for individuals and £24 p/person for group bookings (There is a £4.99 cost for postage and packaging of entry pack).
