I am delighted to announce that the Sunderland Pride team have announced the date of their fourth event in the City.
Sunderland Pride 2014 will be held on Sunday 28th of September in Park Lane Village in the City Centre of Sunderland.
In the last three years the event has become an annual part of Sunderland’s now booming event calendar, and was strengthened last year with a new partnership formed with Sunderland Live, which led to the event being stretched over a full-weekend at the beginning of September.
This year the event will move back to it’s original timings and will include a Pride Parade through the City Centre starting at the Civic Centre from 12 o’clock, with entertainment commencing in Park Lane Village from 1pm.
Further information including this years line-up will be released in the coming weeks and months, and will be available online via www.sunderlandpride.co.uk. Information is also now available on the Gay North East site, which the team will be working with this year as one of the Media Partners for the event.
