Indeed. Well, I’m an active consumer of North East culture. What I hope to do is give a taste of what people can experience in the North East., whether it’s music, comedy, art or historical sites. I don’t claim to be an expert in any of these. I just enjoy them. I intend to mention future events as well as my own take on events and places I have visited.
As a starting point, this weekend I am joining over 680 other singers at an event at the Sage Gateshead. We will be having a crash course in opera at the Join In and Sing event. Then we will be performing a half hour slot in the evening. I’ll let you know how that goes! No doubt as a family we will be out and about over the next week, till next time…
