The major attraction of the Corbridge Festival year on year is the incredible musical line-up at what remains a determinedly and deliberately small family festival. Everything is compact, no walking miles from stage to stage, no endless queues for food or drink! It’s small, it’s neat, and it’s perfectly formed!

Corbridge Festival 2013 once again manages to delight with its glittering selection of top names in pop, rock and folk along with the best of the UK’s soul and hip hop artists, all the while steadfastly maintaining the all-important feel of the family friendly festival.

Household name Toploader shares the two stages with a wealth of up and coming talent including Big Beat Bronson, Max Milner, MAUSI, Jamie Squire, Extra Curricular, Holy Moly and the Crackers, Jeramiah Ferrari and This Ground Moves, to provide a sensational musical backdrop to a wonderful family friendly weekend. Our very own Steffen Peddie, better know as ‘Big Keith’ from sitcom Hebburn will be comparing the main stage throughout the day, there’s Saturday night camping and all in a uniquely beautiful Northumberland setting!

Festival goers are also treated to workshops including African drumming, kids yoga, circus skills, den building, jewellery making, DJ training and arts and crafts.  There’s a play bus, go karts, fairground, story-teller, body zorbing and face painting.  Further complementing all of this is the array of festival stalls and catering units. Hadrian and Border Brewery once again supply the main bar offering their very own festival ale. An addition for this year is a Summer favourite Champagne and Pimms bar.  Also making its first appearance at a Northern event is the Eco Village, showcasing stalls with an ethical conscience.  Various strange and flamboyant theatrical characters mingle with the crowds to provide a magical and stimulating experience. Corbridge festival is so much more than a music festival, it’s an open air party.
