THE FUTURE OF DANCE MUSIC IS ‘FUTURE PROOF’

rihousemusic 150x150 - The Future Of Dance Music is 'Future Proof', Northumbria Uni The aim of R House is to find advancing artists and give them the opportunity to perform live and help them market their music. This can then be used as steppingstone to break into the live music scene in the North East with the objective of developing them from bedroom DJ’s to fully-fledged performing artists.

With this ambition in mind R House has organized a series of upcoming events titled ‘Future Proof’ starting on the 19th October 2012 at Northumbria University. With the recent acceptance on to the O2 Think Big scheme R House is going to change the way aspiring artists are discovered in the world of electronic dance music.

How do DJ’s develop their career if the only audience they have is the contents of their bedroom? With R House. R House will aim to support and promote its artists in as many ways as possible from: • Securing live performances at ‘Future Proof’ events. • Financial backing – Travel expenses to and from events, purchase of music such as MP3’S / CD’s and studio recording equipment. • Online Marketing – Promoting artists through digital media such as Soundcloud.com, Mixcloud.com, Facebook, Myspace.com, Beatport.com andmany other social networking and music websites.

We are currently looking for DJ’s, producers and promoters to help spread the word and get involved. If you would like to be part of this unique series of events please contact R House using the contact details supplied above.
