Legislation Drivers for Innovation Event, 2nd October

Constructing Excellence in the North East, in association with The Environmental Academy, are holding an event which will explore the legislation drivers for energy efficiency and carbon reduction targets within the UK.

Rita Callender and Tamma Carel from The Environment Academy will explain the latest on environmental policy and legislation, and outline the support available that businesses can access to reduce their impact on the environment.

The morning will also include two businesses presenting on innovative technologies for lighting and heating systems.

Arzhang Tahmosybayat from Glowled will speak about his innovative energy-efficient LED lighting systems and explain how they effectively save costs and carbon.

James O’Brien, from Red Hot Green will explain how infra infrared heating panels, advanced heat-efficient-technology, can deliver savings for heating, maintenance and repair bills.

The event is ideal for anyone in the construction industry as well as for architects and planners. It will take place on 2 October from 8.30am to 11.30am at Yours Business Networks Gateshead, 7 and 8 Delta Bank Road, Metro Riverside Park, Gateshead, Tyne & Wear, NE11 9DJ.
