Two young digital media students from Aim High Training Solutions Ltd were given the opportunity and experience of a lifetime when they accompanied me at the Sunderland International Airshow at the weekend.
.
Kaitlynn Valchar, 18, Hartlepool and Nick Wetherell 16, Redcar, both on a level 2 digital media apprenticeship with Aim High Training based in Sunderland City Centre, were given the opportunity to accompany Donna Petch from The North East HUB in the media area at Sunderland International Airshow 25th Anniversary.
.
The students shadowed Donna for a few hours, during this time they were able to video and take photos on the media podium, talk to journalists, photographers, media and record several interviews including one with Mike Ling (Red 10 of the Red arrows) and Councillor John Kelly (Sunderland Council).
