The Northumbria University Students Union will again host the successful Minecraft themed event.
Nethermind (netherminded.com) is a family-friendly, unofficial extravaganza offering an exclusive opportunity to meet some of the world’s popular Minecraft YouTubers.
Not just about gaming, Nethermined is the result of an exuberant Minecraft fan demand for events in the north east England region, gearing up to be an exciting two days of Q&A sessions, chances to meet YouTubers, live gaming and workshops. The event is scheduled to take place over Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th February 2017, at the Student Union Building at Northumbria University, Newcastle NE1 8SB
With plenty to see and do for the whole family, Nethermined is delighted to confirm Grainger Games shall be supporting the event, along with fellow local company, IT and PC specialists Cavtec, & also Computer Planet based in Warrington.
Nethermined will also be supporting – as part of the event organisers’ commitment to charities – the Evening Chronicle Sunshine Fund, dedicated to changing the lives of children with disabilities. This is the third year that Nethermined have supported the Charity, and once again there will be a raffle to raise further funds for the charity.
There will be a dedicated Parents Zone plus panels about online safety as well as demonstrations on how to play Minecraft with your children and how it is utilised as an educational tool.
Workshop places have increased with assistance from Cavtec and Computer Planet and kids will also be able to play on some retro games and new Indie Games in a new Retro/Indie Game Zone.
