Would your car journey make great TV? Fancy starring in a new show that could reach over 1.7 million viewers a month?
Made in Tyne & Wear TV, available on Freeview 8, Sky Guide 117 and Virgin 159, is looking for people to star in new fly on the wall programme, ‘Motor Mouth’. Participants will be filmed in their car by mini-cams going about regular journeys to work, university, shopping or visiting friends.
The six part Networked series will film two people in the car who regularly undertake the journey together in Tyne and Wear. Couples can be partners, family members, work colleagues or friends.
Tony Hazell, Made in Tyne & Wear’s Station Manager adds: “We’ll capture your discussions, chat, singing, and maybe even bust ups and make ups! We’ve all had those moments in the car when we’ve thought wouldn’t that have made great TV and now there’s every chance it could do!”
Interested parties are invited to complete the online application on the Made in Tyne & Wear website.
Couples must be available for filming in April/May 2016.
