The wait is over for hundreds of hopeful sliders as tickets for the first ever WearSlide event will be released for general sale this weekend.
The giant 100 metre and a second 50 metre slide will both take place in Herrington Country Park on Saturday April 25 2015, offering hundreds of thrill seekers the opportunity to splash their way to a fantastically unique experience.
Tickets will be available to purchase at www.sunderlandlive.co.uk from 10am on Saturday 22 November, just in time to make it on to everyone’s Christmas list.
Chris Alexander, Chief Operating Officer at Sunderland Live said: “It’s great to see that other people are as excited as we are about WearSlide. We’ve been thrilled with the amount of queries we’ve received around this event and would recommend early booking to avoid disappointment.
Tickets will be sold at a maximum of two per booking and names and dates of birth of sliders will be required”
As well as offering adult’s and children’s tickets as the perfect stocking filler, Sunderland Live will also be offering packages for charities and registered organisations.
